Embracing a New Adventure: Moving from Colorado to Maine

I'm thrilled to share this exciting new adventure with all our friends, family, and even my amazing clients from Beau Visage who I've gotten to know over the past eight years. Your support has meant the world to me, and I can't wait to bring you along on this journey to Maine.

For the past two years, I’ve been on a journey of self-discovery and reflection, reassessing what truly matters in life. This journey has led my parents and me to make a life-changing decision: we are moving from the bustling state of Colorado to the serene landscapes of Maine. This blog post is a glimpse into why we’ve chosen this path and what we hope to find in our new home.

Slower Pace, More Space

Life in Colorado has been a whirlwind of activity, but we’re craving a slower pace. Maine’s small towns and serene countryside are just what we need to take things down a notch. Plus, having more land means we can start a little homestead with gardens, chickens, ducks, and maybe even a couple of goats. The idea of growing our own food and enjoying the fruits of our labor is incredibly appealing.

Cooler Summers

Another big reason for our move is the weather. Colorado is getting a bit too warm for our liking, and we’re ready for Maine’s milder summers. Imagine enjoying the outdoors without feeling like you’re melting! The cooler climate is perfect for spending time outside, which has become really important to me.

New Perspectives

My perspective on life has shifted over the past couple of years. I’ve come to value simplicity and a closer connection to nature. Maine’s stunning coastline offers endless opportunities for outdoor fun, from beach walks to coastal hikes. I can’t wait to be near the ocean and soak in all the natural beauty.

Looking Ahead

As we get ready to move to Maine, we’re filled with excitement. We know there will be challenges, but we’re ready for them. The slower pace, extra space, cooler summers, and the chance to spend more time together are all reasons why we’re making this change. Here’s to new beginnings and the adventures that await us in Maine!

I'm excited to keep you all up to date with this new adventure!
